the best breakfast in Three Rivers. Amy served us and she was so pleasant, so fast and so welcoming! The place was busy but you can tell that everyone on staff are on point because every single table was happy and fed. Dad's biscuits and gravy are the best I've had in this town. The biscuits are HUGE and the gravy is fresh and creamy. In fact, we were the last order to get some before they ran out and it was only about 12:45. The hashbrowns and corned beef hash each had a layer of crispy goodness from the grill and they were the best I ever had. Seasoned perfectly. This chef knows what they're doing! Which is why I also tried the bean and ham soup with a side of cornbread. !!! Comfy atmosphere, sweet service and some real good damn food!!

Perfect joint for breakfast or lunch. They have the best biscuits and gravy in the nation, but you need to get there before it sells out! A great little gem tucked away in Three Rivers.

Great diner in three rivers, old school food at an old school price. Friendly service, has all the classics... Biscuits are delicious.

In town for golf tournament that was delayed by lighting. We like finding small local places to eat when we travel. Checked on yelp and Dad's looked like the place to go. As usual yelp led me to an awesome meal. Philly cheese steak omelet was special, was very good. Service was friendly and price cheap.

This place was recommended by a family member and I am glad we went. I had a omelette with raisin toast and all was good. If your looking for a good breakfast at a reasonable price this is definitely the place to go

Prices fair. Service fair. Food great. I got my food really fast too. Really easy to order vegetarian here if you want/need.

If you're looking for the place where the locals eat this is it. Classic American diner fare but done right. Known for breakfasts but burgers are great as well. Definitely check it out!

I use to come here all the time with friends back in my high school days. We would skip 1st period just to eat here during the week day. When I occasionally visit Three Rivers, I tend to go here with my husband. There is nothing out of the ordinary, just good simple breakfast.

Without Dad's knowing it, it is the type of diner that urban places try to be. The food is low key yummy and fast. For décor they have vinyl-covered tables, vinyl-ceiling tiles, and they have had the same servers for as long as I can remember (yes I consider them décor, they are staples there). And somehow the staff there still knows me when I walk in once every year, which gives it that extra homey feel. When I went last time I was home I had my food in literally 7 minutes after I sat down; I timed it! Any of their food is great, it is diner food, what's not to love? But I highly recommend their pancakes, they are a little sweeter than most. Dads Place is worth a stop if you are in the Three Rivers area, it doesn't disappoint.

You have to have GPS to find this little diner. Follow the twists and turns and you end up among factory buildings with nothing resembling a restaurant anywhere to be seen. Keep looking, you won't be disappointed. A former convenience store that has been converted to an eatery smack dab in the middle of a factory neighborhood. The food is good. We had breakfast. Mine was a Swiss cheese bacon omelette made with shredded Swiss and perfectly crumbled bacon in a generous portion. I took advantage of a menu feature that allows the accompanying hash browns to be covered with a ladle of tasty sausage gravy. Mmmm. An english muffin topped off the meal. The diner has a counter with stools and a room of tables in a friendly decor. The waitress was attentive and efficient. My only complaint was the restroom (unisex?) that seemed to be a former closet which I did not venture into. Worth the extra effort to find, no chain or cookie cutter breakfast stop.

This is a five-star review based off of the type of place it is. It's a little hole-in-the-wall in the middle of a mixed-use neighborhood with very straight-forward in-and-out type service and was hard to find at first - seriously if you blink while driving by, you will miss it - but has since become one of my favorite breakfast spots. There are other options in the area, like Dairy Bar, Oasis, or Mar-Jo's and Dad's is hands down the best especially when it comes to their omelettes, which are not only amazing looking but packed with whatever veggies, cheeses, or meats that come with the type you order. It's ridiculous how much food you get here for the price but not so much that you're made to feel like a disgusting glutton when all of your food comes out (I'm looking at you, Mar-Jo's) Parking can be a pain but if you make it there before or after the work crowd, or before the church crowd on Sunday, you should be able to find a spot rather easily, just take note that the parking lot on the corner across from Dad's does now allow Dad's patrons to park there.

The food is good and the portions are enough, prices are fair. However, unless you are a regular - don't expect great treatment. I even had to ask the cashier to take my money after standing there for 5 minutes while she 'chatted' with a counter customer.

We love this place---have eaten there for many many yrs----and still have the same waitresses that were back then! We'd eat here again any time---great food---a slight step back in time! It is a bit more difficult to find, but once found, you will never forget!

A hidden gem in Three Rivers that is as good as it gets when it comes to breakfast (and gravy on your breakfast, if desired). Casual, friendly atmosphere.
